Simply put, strategic planning is a program designed to manage resources to get profits.  A good program or plan helps raise capital resources.  A plan that looks at where you are and where you want to go.  And then monitors or reviews of what steps you should take to get there.  One of the best and easiest plans just ask four questions:

1)  Where and how?
2)  What are our weapons or resources?
3)  Where do you want to go?
4)  How are we going to get there?

We review and analyze:
S: Situation:  Where are you now?
W: Weapon resources:  What tools do we have?
O: Objectives:  Where do we want to go?
T: Tactics/Monetary:  How are we going to get there?
